Vincent Foods' Oh Mama! Partnership
with Feed The Children
Vincent Foods, the creator of the Oh Mama! bar, is pleased to announce its partnership with Feed The Children, one of the world's most influential charities dedicated to feeding and supporting the bodies and minds of infants and families across the world. Beth Vincent, president and founder of Vincent Foods is dedicated to the health and well-being of mothers and their children and has selected Feed The Children for the charitable partnership to help promote this mission on a global level. "We are thrilled to be able to work with Feed The Children to foster healthy living in mothers and babies worldwide."
In addition to donations of Oh Mama! bars to Feed The Children, Vincent Foods is focusing its attention on the organization's Abandoned Baby Center (ABC) in Kenya, Africa. This innovative facility opened in 2001 as a response to the startling fact that every 10 minutes in Kenya, a baby looses his or her parents as a result of violence, epidemics and poverty. According to the ABC co-founder, Frances Jones, "There was no place in the area that provided the kind of intensive, one-on-one care abandoned babies need...and innocent little ones were dying. We had to do something." What they did was build a 5-acre facility to care for these babies and provide "a life-saving haven where these infants could recover, grow and thrive."

This holiday season, Vincent Foods is leading an effort to raise $5,400 to sponsor 50 babies for one year at Feed The Children's Abandoned Baby Center. Each sponsorship provides an infant with nourishing food, medical care and a home with loving caretakers. In order to reach our goal, we have two programs designed to support the abandoned babies.
